  1. Albert, these are FABULOUS pictures! I see you like to smell flowers, too. Mom taught me to smell them. Dad laughs at me every time I do it. That’s because his sniffer is broken so he doesn’t know what he’s missing.

  2. What beauteous blooms and what a relief they are after the long winter …. no wonder you are looking so smiley! Have you ever read the story of Ferdinand? He was a little bull who just wanted to spend his days under a cork tree smelling the flowers in the meadows … he sprung to mind when I looked at these pictures (not that I am implying you are bullish, you understand 🙂 )

    • The Lady knows about Ferdinand the bull, and I was indeed feeling a little Ferdinand-ish yesterday. Indeed, we are enjoying this beautiful spring after what seemed like a never-ending winter. 🙂

  3. Beautiful photographs, Albert! You’re so lucky you get to stop and smell the roses (or whatever those flowers are!). I hope you don’t relieve yourself on them? I remember your post about the gazing globes in the park. Walter and Sherman are always complaining about how our moms won’t let them go on other people’s flowers.

    • Thank you, Carol. There are little signs in this garden admonishing us dogs not to relieve ourselves on the plants. I’ll admit that I was tempted once or twice, but the Lady reminded me with a stern “Not there!” and I controlled myself.
